Application 1: Inside the car charging plug

1. Selection

Disconnection temperature: inside the plug, the disconnection temperature is generally selected to be 90 degrees or 100 degrees; Considering that the temperature switch will have current thermal effect when passing current, resulting in the disconnection temperature being advanced, the corresponding higher disconnection temperature is selected according to different used currents. For example, the KSD-D model will jump 15 degrees in advance when passing 10A current. If the internal temperature of the plug is expected to jump to 90 degrees, the actual selection of 90 15=105 degrees of the product;

Rated current: the use of current is 10A below the product selection KSD-B; the use of current is 10A above the product selection KSD-D

Considering the small internal space of the plug, it is easy to produce the problem of too small creepage distance, and recommend the product with insulating sleeve package.

The plug is generally not too large in volume and limited in internal space, so the long TB05 series is not recommend, and the long products reaching 10A reach 15mm-20mm in length and cannot be installed. However, the same 10A ST06 product is easier to install into the plug with a narrow space because it is a round shell with a diameter of 9mm and an insulating sleeve of 11mm.

2. Advantages

High reliability below 50ppm failure rate.

The current thermal effect is small. Under the condition of 10A current, the KSD-D will jump off 15 degrees in advance, while the strip product will jump off about 30 degrees in advance. Therefore, KSD-D models are easier to select and have better compatibility. For example, if the long strip product is selected at 100 degrees, considering the current thermal effect, it will jump off 30 degrees in advance. Therefore, if the 130 degree product is actually selected, there is no problem in 10A products. However, if the current thermal effect of 5A products is not obvious, the jump off temperature in advance is only about 10 degrees, which will cause the plug temperature to be too high, resulting in performance degradation and serious fire hazard.

Cost-effective, round products than similar imported products in the same performance, the price is cheaper.

Application two: charging gun head

1. Selection

Inside the head of the charging gun, the protection temperature is generally 80~100 degrees,

Because the current passing through is very small, generally recommend TB05 series and TB02 series,

If the installation position is limited, choose the smaller TB02 series,

If there is a pressure requirement for the temperature control switch, you can also choose the iron shell TB05 series and TB02 series,

2. Advantages

Baozhu TB series has a low open circuit rate of about 20ppm. As the charging gun is a high-frequency electrical product, once the open circuit is opened, it will not be able to charge, and the maintenance and replacement costs will be high.
